Terms Of Use

1. Laundry Pond cannot guarantee against colour loss, colour bleeding and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics. Our liability with respect to any damaged item/s shall not exceed ten (10) times our charge for cleaning that garment regardless of brand or condition.
2. Any lost items must be reported within 5 days. Laundry Pond makes its best reasonable effort to track every item reported as missing. Should we fail to track down a reported missing item/s that comes to Laundry Pond is regarded as second hand because it has been worn at least once, therefore Laundry Pond can only be liable for 50% of the total cost of that particular item/s.
3. Laundry Pond will not be responsible for loose items such as jewellery, watch, cash, detachable buttons, cufflinks etc. We request customers empty their pockets prior to handing/leaving laundry with us as we cannot be held responsible for damage to your garments from items left in pockets – lipstick, make-up, gum, pens etc.
4. Any personal property found by Laundry Pond staff that appears to have value will be removed and stored for 30 days. Items unclaimed within that period will be donated to charity (Laundry Pond Foundation).
5. Service days and turnaround time vary by work load. Laundry Pond will make its best reasonable effort to adhere to our service schedule, however, we do not guarantee turnaround times and assume no responsibility for any delays caused by water and/or electric outrages.
